A building caught mid-step
Completed in 1996 on the Vltava riverfront, the Dancing House was designed by Vlado Milunić with Frank Gehry. Two towers stand side by side: one solid and built of stone, the other glass, pinched at the waist as if leaning into its partner. Prague nicknamed it Fred and Ginger, after the film dancing pair Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.

The voice and the words are generated live by an AI, so no two tellings are the same. Made with ElevenLabs. Turn your sound on — your browser will ask for the microphone to open the connection, but you never need to speak.
